Atrificial Turf FAQ

How is Artificial Turf with pets?

Absolutely! We use a special kind of infill so that any odors are removed from pet urine. The turf can endure any abuse from pets. Our artificial/synthetic grass is pet-friendly and pet safe.

Is Artificial Turf Chafer Beetle and pest resistant?

Yes, it is a great solution to reverse the damage to your lawn caused by Chafer Beetles.

Chafer beetles under your lawn are what cause crows and other animals to destroy your grass. This causes the grass to get spongy, turn brown, and eventually all that is left is dead grass, dirt, and torn up lawn which is not what you want.

When Artificial Turf is installed we use a thick heavy mesh underneath, so animals such as raccoons and crows cannot dig up your lawn anymore. This is an effective pest control solution if they are destroying your lawn.

How do I clean my synthetic grass?

Maintenance of synthetic grass is really easy. Use a leaf blower or a leaf vacuum to clean the artificial/synthetic grass during the fall. If the leaf blower doesn’t do the job well enough, simply use a hose to wash off the grass. Another great benefit is wine, chlorine and other types of backyard solutions won’t stain the grass!

Is artificial grass safe for children?

If you get your grass from a high-quality installer, it is safe for children. Check with the manufacturer to ensure they are making grass that is BPA and toxin-free. Make sure you ask your installer if they do lead testing on their synthetic grass.

Will synthetic grass fade?

Synthetic grass that is purchased from a top-quality manufacturer doesn’t fade over a short period. The truth is, the artificial grass will change color only slightly over time as it is exposed to sunlight. However, it will stay vibrant and green. Artificial grass from our company comes with a warranty that will protect you in the unlikely case that fading occurs.

Do our grass products come with a warranty?

Definitely! There is a 10 year warranty on the grass and our materials too.

Does artificial grass get hot?

Synthetic or artificial grass does get warmer than normal grass, but it doesn’t hold heat. It’s a lot like an artificial soccer or football field. If you need your artificial grass to cool off, just spray it with a hose, and it will cool down quickly.

Can artificial grass be laid on top of concrete?

Yes, it can. Give us a call, and we’ll gladly walk you through the installation process of our artificial grass on any type of surface.

Can you put artificial grass on decking?

Yes, but it’s important to note that synthetic grass will mirror the texture of the surface you are covering. If your decking is sloping, the artificial grass will definitely follow that contour. Call us today, and we’ll walk you through how we install our artificial/synthetic grass on any number of surfaces.

Can you buy artificial grass at Home Depot or Lowe’s?

Some artificial/synthetic grass products are readily available at home improvement stores like Home Depot or Lowe’s. What you’ll see there will be of lower-quality grass like you can remember seeing at your granny’s house or on The Price is Right!

If you’re hoping to purchase a high-quality artificial grass to replace your lawn, you should endeavour to buy it from a trusted, local wholesaler. We have artificial grass readily available for wholesale pricing in addition to offering a full-service installation. Give us a call to learn more about how you can purchase artificial grass.

Can I install synthetic grass myself?

If you are a DIY- type, or you have some experience in carpet-laying, and you don’t mind heavy materials, then you can go for it! However, there are a few things you should take into consideration:
To begin the installation, you’ll have to dig out your entire yard.

Then, you’ll have to put down thousands of pounds of filler.

Artificial grass comes in 15-foot-wide rolls.

You’ll need to buy your grass from a high-quality manufacturer.
